Weird...I was thinking that this pic looks a lot like a nuclear bomb going off and just realized it was 70 years ago today that we unleashed that horror onto the world!
To further the weirdness, I saw an infographic yesterday that showed how Manhattan (ironically, the name of the atomic bomb project) would fare if Little Man and Fat Man would be dropped there.
