  2. Help me out. The woman on the back cover is riding a water ski I'm not familiar with. - anyone know what it's called?

    Second: You might want to warn her she's about to smash into the pier.

    1. I think she was doing something called 'pier boarding' it was all the rage in the late 50's. You'd get on a boogie board and with the fastest speedboat possible SMASH right into the nearest dock. I think they made it illegal in '61 when a cousin to the Kennedy's wound up paralyzed. I dig the front cover where a blue woman from Atlantis is playing hard to get with a silly human from the surface world.
